Summer Visual Arts Camp • Ages 6–8 • July 24–August 4 (Two weeks, M–F), 9am–4pm
Color, form, line, shape, texture, value, volume: these are the basic elements of all visual art. During this two-week camp session, students will review the fundamentals of drawing and watercolor painting. After mastering basic concepts including line, form, and color, they will move on to practice techniques such as shading, texture, and perspective to add dimension to their work. All the while, the young artists will hone their fine motor skills, enhance their close-looking skills while observing the natural environment, and stretch their imaginations. By the end of camp, they will unveil their creations in a showcase for friends and family!
NOTE: Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination will be required for participants in all camps. Additional safety measures may be implemented. By registering, you are agreeing to comply with all health protocols; you are also agreeing to our Anti-Bullying Policy.
