The San Francisco Stand-Up Comedy Competition is an annual event that features some of the best up-and-coming comics in the region. This show brings back one of the competition’s favorites for a hilarious performance on Montalvo’s intimate Carriage House stage: Kira Soltanovich.

Kira Soltanovich is best known as the voice of the photo booth on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, a one-time bit turned into almost 9 years as a correspondent on the show. Kira has a Showtime special called Here Comes Trouble and an Amazon special called You Did This To Me. She recently shot Shake Your Money Maker, a 30-minute special of pure crowd work. Look for Kira as the surly sidekick to host Donald Faison on the Netflix game show, Winsanity! She’s been a writer for Wanda Sykes, Jeff Dunham, Michael Ian Black, Selena Gomez, and Joan Rivers, to name a few.
