Bollywood dance styles will be taught from 6:30-7:30pm, led by instructors from the Bollywood Dance Connection. After the class, put your new skills to practice as a Dohl drummer and DJ combo lays down rhythms to carry us into the evening.

Bollywood Lesson + Concert (Session 2)
Bollywood: A blend of Indian dance styles, including classical Indian dance, folk Indian dance or more current R&B and hip hop music styles. A mix of symbolic hand gestures, facial expressions, and foot movements from classical dance styles work together to tell a story that lends itself to film. It first came to prominence in the Indian film industry based in Bombay, currently Mumbai (Bombay + Hollywood=Bollywood) and has since become internationally popular.
Kashish Juneja is a Bollywood Dance instructor at Bollywood Dance Connection. She started her dance career at age 6 and began assisting with teaching Bollywood dance sessions during her freshman year of high school. Kashish is primarily focused on teaching Bollywood and Hip-hop. She is also currently working on her business degree from UC Berkeley. Her desire to share her enthusiasm in dance with others came naturally, and she has choreographed for special events and group performances.
